Yusha-Marie Sorzano

Yusha-Marie Sorzano received her primary instruction from New World School of the Arts, Thomas Armour Youth Ballet, The Dance Theater of Harlem and the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program. She has been a member of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Morphoses, TU Dance, and BODYTRAFFIC, and was a guest artist with the LA Dance Project. Yusha-Marie has performed in principal roles with the Ailey company and in concert works with choreographers Ulysses Dove, Dianne McIntyre, Hofesh Shechter, Kyle Abraham and Mauro Bigonzetti. She has also worked with recording artists Wynton Marsalis, Sweet Honey in the Rock and Rihanna. Television, theatre and film credits include Dancing with the Stars, the Goodman Theater’s Crowns, and the independent film You, Me & The Circus. She most recently joined Camille A. Brown & Dancers and is a member of The Joffrey Ballet School’s Master Teacher faculty.
