Alek, the writer: Alek's love for language and writing started with his mom, a high school Polish teacher. Before dance, he thought journalism would be his career. He now fulfills this second passion by sharing his opinion, experience and advice through articles and opinion pieces in the field of dance.
Alek, the teacher: With 15 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer and educator, Alek has taught his dance classes all around the world: from Poland, France, United Kindgom, Italy and Switzerland, to United States, Australia and New Zealand. He specializes in contemporary fusion and commercial dance styles. In his classes, you will experience intricate musicality while focusing on intention, details and dynamics, as well as the texture of the movement. His classes put emphasis on story-telling, while maintaining a technical, structured background. He also focuses a lot on improvisation as a tool of movement and expression development.
