Movements
A ballet basics lesson on the seven movements that make up all of ballet: plier, étendre, relever, glisser, sauter, élancer and tourner. Here each one is shown in turn, with a short voice-over on what the body is doing.
The cues stay on alignment. Knees track over the toes, the tailbone stays over the heels and the spine keeps lengthening. Jumps land with soft heels.
