Active Recovery
This recovery practice goes beyond holding stretches: you learn to use your muscles to control your joints and reach deeper ranges. Keep your attention on which muscles are working.
The practice suits a recovery day. It helps ease soreness and improve range of motion without making anything worse.
Expect toe control, a ramped-up 90/90 hip contraction from twenty to a hundred percent effort, and a foot massage. A two-minute kneeling hold is something to work toward, not rush.
