Description
AZOTH Dance Theatre, based in Blois, France, is seeking 1 male dancer for a role takeover (in the piece (Re)-Write) and to join the company.
Production Info
Rehearsals: Held Monday to Friday, depending on touring periods.
Weekly classes: Held between Monday and Saturday. Open to discussion based on what you would like to teach (e.g., hip-hop, street jazz, etc.).
Educational Projects: 1 to 2 annual projects carried out within primary schools (lasting 3 to 4 months).
Performances: Several performance dates are scheduled in the Loir-et-Cher department, as well as internationally.
Compensation/Fee
Long term contract. All rehearsal time, classes and performances are paid!
Requirements
- Skills: Mature dancer with a strong background in both contemporary and hip-hop techniques (specifically popping and locking).
- Traits: Motivated, reliable, and committed.
- Location: Based in the Centre-Val de Loire region (ideally Loir-et-Cher), or willing to relocate there.
- Must speak French
The dancer must be fully invested in all of the company’s activities (performance, educational projects in schools, and weekly classes hosted at the company’s studios).
