Scapino Ballet Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands’ leading dance companies and Rotterdam’s premier city dance company. Since 1945, we have been demonstrating how dance can move, amaze and inspire. Our productions are bold, multidisciplinary and often accompanied by live music. We use art as an agent for change and commission work which relate to societal issues. Under the artistic direction of Nanine Linning, the company works with a diverse and talented team of approximately 27 dancers and presents 60–80 performances per season both nationally and internationally.
