Description

Seoul Metropolitan Ballet, Korea’s public contemporary ballet company, is seeking up to 20 Season Dancers for its 2026–2028 season.

Production Info

Selected dancers will participate in the company’s productions and related programs, performing works by internationally renowned choreographers including Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman, Hans van Manen, Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger, and Kang Hyo-hyung.

The engagement period is from September 2026 to August 2028. The contract period may be extended or shortened by up to a month, depending on the performance schedule, with August 2028 as the standard end date.

Up to 20 dancers will be selected. The final number of selected dancers may vary depending on audition results.

Requirements

  • Professional dancers aged 18 or older
  • Strong foundation in classical ballet and contemporary movement
  • Female applicants must be able to perform pointe work
  • Applicants must be available to participate in Seoul Metropolitan Ballet productions and related activities throughout the engagement period
