"My first professional dance job was when I was 8 years old. I had auditioned to be part of the performances for the Oscars. Back then, the movies Hook and Beauty and the Beast were nominated for musical score and they included dance performances that included kids. That was the first time I got to work with the legendary Debbie Allen. I remember being really nervous for the audition, and out of hundreds of kids only 5 of us were booked. I remember learning how to "hit a mark" that early on in my career, because the performance was also televised, we would pre-record and also perform live. I got to work with Robin Williams, who of course, always made us laugh during rehearsal. Definitely memories and connections I've cherished for my entire career."
