From touring with Broadway shows to traveling with celebrity artists like Pink, Dr. Odom's biggest goals for supporting performers is, of course, health and wellness-focused. Here are his thoughts on how productions can best prioritize performers' health while on the road.

Dr David Odom: "Touring with Broadway shows as well as concert tours has been a unique way to travel the world while also doing something that you love. The biggest lesson from touring is how valuable a healthcare practitioner can be for the performers in a show. I typically set up a backstage treatment room with all the tools and equipment to keep everyone healthy for the stage. My goal is to make this a norm for traveling shows while promoting health and wellness in performing arts. Dancers are athletes and should have access to body work, physical therapy, training, nutrition advice, and anything else to keep their bodies performing optimally."
