Chassé Pivot
This across-the-floor sequence pairs a chassé with a pivot to sharpen technique and spotting. Opposite arm, opposite leg: that is how you stay stable, and you wouldn't run any other way. The chassé is smooth, not a gallop. Push into the floor, then try it with a small jump.
Then add a pivot over the ball of the foot. Spotting is the key: look to the corner, turn sharp, find the other corner. Do both sides to balance the body.
