Bend, Crease & Fall!
This floor-oriented center exercise starts integrating the upper and lower body. Start in a hip-distance parallel stance and bring the upper and lower body into conversation. The energy runs on three lines at once: legs dropping down, torso flying high, shoulder girdle spreading wide.
Creases at the ankles, knees and hips set up spirals and counter directions. They end in a long fall across the horizontal plane. Momentum from one fall hands you to the next move.
Wider feet are fine if the hips feel tight.
