Many of us are fans of the comedy "The Office" - and why not? There's so much to love - the humor, the sarcasm, the way the actors break the 4th wall and speak directly to the audience. And now, the dance world is about to get its own version - "Off Kilter."

The show was created by Alejandro Alvarez Cadilla, formerly of Compania Nacional de Danza and Ballet Frankfurt, and comedian Amy Cunningham. The show revolves around Milton Frank, a fictional choreographer, as he works on creating his first piece in twenty years.

In addition to the gorgeous dancing, we can't get enough of the show's dry humor, played very well by National Ballet of Canada principal Harrison James and former Royal Winnipeg Ballet soloist Sarah Murphy-Dyson.

The show isn't just funny, though! It tackles a lot of important issues that are facing the ballet world today - everything from age discrimination to sexism. But it does it in a way that is approachable for everyone, dancer or not.
