It seems that the only dance Abby Lee Miller will be doing for a while is the cell block tango. That’s right folks, Miller has been sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison! The reality TV star pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and withholding $775,000 in income last year. Her sentence comes just yesterday after a long time legal battle with authorities.
In an exclusive interview with “Good Morning America,” Miller shared her thoughts about her prison sentence: “I'm going to pretend I’m in a movie and we're on set and I’m there for 10 months and that's the way it's going to be.”
Miller will need to check into prison within the next 44 days, but until then she continues making business plans and reflecting on her past decisions. What does this mean for the hit show “Dance Moms?” Only hollywood knows, but for a year and a day we can expect a no show from Miller.
