New York City Ballet has a long history with the Great White Way. Jerome Robbins choreographed "On The Town" in 1944, and "West Side Story" in 1960. New York City Ballet principal Robbie Fairchild received a Tony nomination for his role as Jerry Mulligan in 'An American in Paris,' and Megan Fairchild was a dream in the 2015 revival of "On The Town." And now, the bunheads are heading to Broadway again!

The New York Times reported that a revival of classic musical 'Carousel' will open on Broadway next March and will feature three NYCB dancers! Justin Peck will choreograph the revival, Amar Ramasar will play the role of Jigger Craigin and Brittany Polluck will be Louise Bigelow.

The show was originally choreographed by Agnes de Mille, and addresses a lot of serious topics, like domestic violence and dangerous tumultuous relationships. This revival will be the fifth revival since the musical opened in 1945. Usually, there is a long dream ballet sequence in the second act - we can't wait to see what Justin Peck does!
