April 28th is shaping up to be a dark day - it's the end of the government fiscal year, and possibly the last day that the National Endowment for the Arts. President Trump has made it very clear that it will be one of the first things to go from the national budget (even though it comprises only 0.005%).

Arts organizations around the country have been speaking up against the plan, and now, Boston Ballet has joined the fight. Principal dancer John Lam asked company members to pick a single word that signifies dance for them, all while performing choreography by Lam. It's a simple, stunning, and powerful film - a must watch.
