Abby Lee Miller has been making waves in the dance world for awhile now. First, it was with her controversial yet successful TV show "Dance Moms" that turned out stars like Maddie Ziegler.

Miller made headlines again in 2015 when she was accused of bankruptcy fraud and failing to report $120,000 worth of Australian currency that she brought into the country. After months of delays, she eventually pleaded guilty, and was tried and convicted. May 9th a judge sentenced her to one year and one day in a Southern Californian prison.

Though she was supposed to head behind bars today, she was rescheduled and is now set to start her sentence on July 12th. She's expected to serve only eight months if she exhibits good behavior.

Maybe she'll come out with an idea for a prison based dance show. Orange is the new...tap?
