Shaping Sound is shaping up for their next big tour, and their performance is already starting some buzz. You’ll recall that Travis Wall showed us a glimpse of his new show "After the Curtain" when he performed with Lex Ishimoto on “So You Think You Can Dance”. The duet was a huge success and great publicity for Travis Wall and his company. However, the theme of the show was not entirely clear…

As it turns out, the show's narrative is centered around coming out and the difficulties that come along with that journey. Through costuming and imagery, Wall is trying to show what that would have been like for someone in the 1920s, who probably would have never come out due to the oppression of the time period. There's a variety of styles of music and dance in the show, from 1920's to rock and roll. The show is definitely meant to speak to the LGTBQ community, but audiences of all shapes and sizes are expected to attend.

Unfortunately, the tour doesn't have any upcoming performances in California. In fact, the show will be making the most of its stops along the East coast.
