It's official: the robots will be taking over any day now.
Sony has created a wristband that creates sound based on your movement. That's right - you choreograph, and it reacts and creates music as you go.
The device, which looks like a very technological over-sized bracelet, is decked out with sensors and microphones that tracks your movement and turns them directly into sounds.
It's a part of their Motion Sonic project, where Sony is aiming to use technology to create 'unprecedented performances.' It was recently on exhibit in Austin, TX as a part of SXSW, a large festival that celebrates film, music, and interactive media.
