Anne Luben has performed works by notable choreographers such as Donald McKayle, Bill T. Jones, Jiri Kylian, Idan Cohen, Alex Ketley, and Summer Lee Rhatigan, among others. She recently graduated with honors from University of California, Irvine, where she earned her B.F.A. in Dance Performance and her B.A. in Literary Journalism. During her time at UCI, she was honored to be a member of Donald McKayle's Etude Ensemble. A native of Long Beach, CA, Anne began dancing at the age of three. She completed her early training at Long Beach Ballet Arts Center, later moving to the Maple Conservatory of Dance in Irvine, California. She spent several summers studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, as well as at the American Dance Festival at Duke University in North Carolina. Anne was a member of Juxtaposition Dance Theater, and was on faculty at DanceLova Dance Academy and Newport Dance Theater. She recently relocated to New York City to continue to pursue her passion for dance and the arts. She is currently a member of Bryce Dance, and is the managing director for Mason Holdings, a theater company.
